WON Bass Western Classic; Lake Mead Nevada

Once again practice at Lake Mead was really tough. It was a struggle for Chris, Tami, and I to catch 5 keepers a day. We tried different techniques: cranking a Rosure Lure, Maverick's Tami Rock 'n Roller and Tami's Diamond, Canyon Plastics 00B tube, Ricci's Recipe Rio Rico, D&M Spinnerbaits and jigs, Roboworms, Yamamoto Senkos and Hula Grubs, Maverick worms Jigs, and more. We caught a lot of fish, but still struggle to catch 5 keepers (13" min).

Day one, I fished with Gary Freeman from Las Vegas, NV. We each caught 4 keepers on Canyon Plastics tubes, Power worms, and Roboworms. Our best 5 that was good enough for 10th place.

Day two, my partner was Jay Christiansen from Downey, Ca. We caught a total of 9 keepers, that was good enough for 5 fish weighing 8.62. We caught our fish on Canyon Plastics tubes, Roboworms, Power Worms, and Yamamoto grubs. I wound up coming in 10th place.

Thank you to Gary and Jay for both contributing to the overall weight. You guys are good fishermen. Great job guys!

Congratulations to the winners of the Western Classic, Pro John Mackey, and Ernie Stumpf. Great job!
